About Me:: hi to all, wanted to let you all know what I race hear in Texas, it is a 1980 Chevy Monza in S/ST and brackets. it's got a 388 sbc , pg w/brake, dana 60 w/ 4.56 gear , ladder bars & coilovers, 10 point cage that runs low 10's @128. I could not do it with out the best women in the world, my wife of 37yrs. she is also my crewchief who is smarter than most that i know.

Truck

We finally got a new truck to take the place of my old 1990 dually, it's a new 08' Chevy Duramax 4x4 crewcab dually, run great and cant wait to use it

hi just wanted to say welcome to my site, I don't get to use it as much as i want since i went back to work,I just dropped a valve in the racecar. R&M just called and said my heads are ready to pick up so i'll be back in it soon, keep the shinny side up Tom Shideler s/st 4662

memorial day race

went to TMP and raced a carclub race but didn't do well as a valve lost it's keeper's during the burnout and tagged the piston. fortunately I was slowing it down when it let go so it only damaged the valve it'sself, the piston was fine as was the head, thankfully. R&M has the heads now for a change of keepers and valvejob + 1 valve. will keep ya'll informed later on, have a great year Tom

God bless John Force

To all that don't know by now, John Force was injured 9/23/07 in Texas in the second round when he and Kenny Bernstien wrecked together breaking John's car in half and hitting the wall hard. He has a broken ankle and a wrist badly sprained and his knee was ground to the bone along with broken fingers. Kenny was unijured, I'm sure he was mentally shaken more than physically injured. John is in the Baylor Methodist Hospital following surgery, may all our prayers be with him
