This muffler is a flat design unit with the inlet and outlet on the same side. This has the same flow specs as the original. The inlet and outlet both have an i.d. of 2-1/4"

Cool, that will probably work great for what you need. It's probably better if I come by you shop, that way we are working with your machine. I'll bring some scrap sheet metal so you can practice on material close to the thickness of you floor. Mabie saturday if that fits your schedule.

Dale, did you find a welder? I was thinking, you should come by the shop and use the mig machines I have before you buy. It might help with yor decision.
