Race Day Schedule
-------Please Read------
All cars will be entered into a class upon completion of registration and tech inspection.
“Designation of class is at the discretion of registration, tech inspectors and the race staff of Route 66 Wings and Wheels Inc”.
It will be based on guidelines that were issued before the race. See class description and or Rules and Regulations. Final decision is at the discretion of race director. All complaints must be made to race director.
Fridays Schedule
7:00am - Track Building Begins.
10:am - Registration Begins at the Powerhouse Parking Lot all racers and burn out contestants must register.
12:00pm - Vendors begin Setting up on First Street.
4:00pm - Track Set Up Completed.
4:00pm - Burn Out Contestants Mandatory Drivers Meeting (Held at the Starting Line).
5:00pm – Registration and Tech Inspection closes.
5:00pm to 7:00pm “JM Eagle” Burn Out Contest”
8:00pm – “Cacklefest”
9:00pm –Welcoming Party and Craig Tyson band preview.
Saturday Race Schedule
6:00am – Registration opens
7:00am – Tech Inspection opens
8:00am - Mandatory Drivers Meeting. All drivers are expected to attend the drivers meeting, located at the picnic tables in the main pit.
9:15am - Staging lanes open.
Please stage “only” when your class is called.
9:45am - Opening ceremonies presentation of colors by Boy Scout Troop #66 of Kingman, followed by invocation.
10:00am - Racing begins with qualifying.
12:00pm - First Round of the Martin Swanty Celebrity Challenge for the “Officers Cup’ and the “Mayors Cup”.
12:30pm - Track resumes qualifying.
4:00pm - Round two of the Martin Swanty Celebrity Challenge for the “Officers Cup” and the “Mayor’s Cup”.
4:30pm -“A-1 Well Grudge Racing”.
6:00pm – Registration and Tech Inspection Closes.
Round One of All Quick 8 Classes
6:00pm - “Salem and Son’s Trophy Class” round one.
6:15pm - “Truck Class” round one.
6:30pm - “CR Driver Training Motorcycle Class” round one.
6:45pm - “Head Quarters Sports Compact class” round one.
7:00pm - “Pure Street class” round one.
7:15pm - “Hot Rod class” round one.
7:30pm - “Snap On Tools Pro Street class” round one.
7:45pm -“A-1 Well Unlimited class” round one.
7:55pm – Finals of the Martin Swanty Celebrity Challenge for the “Officers Cup” and the “Mayors Cup”.
8:00pm - Track Secured.
8:00pm - Concert “Craig Tyson” band on the corner of 4th Street and Beale.
9:00pm – Awards given to the Champions of the Martin Swanty Celebrity Challenge for the “Officers Cup and the “Mayors Cup”.
9:10pm – Award Ceremony for the “KSD VI Block Part and Car Show”. 9:40pm - Winners announced for the “Snap On Tools” tool chest Raffle.
10:00pm to 12:00 – Conclusion of Concert “Craig Tyson” band.
Sunday Race Schedule
8:00am – Registration opens.

I went to the year opener at Irwindale raceway. Its the first time I ever raced on that track......and the last!!

That place sucks chocolate donkey balls!!

I'll never go back there again.
