Hey Matthew, got that hot start problem fixed, I put a 1/0 cable from the battery ground to the engine block with real good attatching hardware. The volts at the starter jumped to nearly 12 from barely 8. Talked with a Ron Francis Wireing rep and he told me that having the ground attatched to the frame is the norm, but in instances like this, its best to use the engine block for that components ground, to get max battery voltage, with a large cable is the best...... works for me !
i beleive it was something like this cant remember. with a large fine and a per.
sus. on dL it will make people think twice? similar to where i saw your 1 comment. but yes in all real world reality take takem to the track.
The people know the risk, the foolish ones race in town or dont lift in traffic.
In NW Oklahoma there a plenty of places where the 1/4 is marked off. When
the locals go out their are no spectators anywhere but the start, and there is
no traffic and no laws "hand held scanners" so the only ones in danger is
the 2 racing. We dont do that much any more cell phone age has shut us down
i damb sure dont race in town or on freeways to easy to go to the track plus
you can hook-up unlike the street, so bodies dont go flying.
no offense, but you must admit it takes ball!
