How do I get out of this stupid NING network so I'll stop getting all these "join me at..."emails!!!!!

This guy, formerly known as “The Cool one” has bombarded all of us with his “come join” this or that. Again, I apologize. Pleas don’t let this guy keep you from having fun on DragNuts.

The best way to keep from receiving his emails is to open them up as soon as you get the email. Then go to the bottom of the page and click on the “To control which emails you receive “ link and block him.”
You may have to do this a few times but it has worked for me.

I am in the process of making a formal complaint with Ning in regards to this “Cool One”

Unfortunately if you have joined any of his stuff your email address is with him. Guess you have to be careful who you make your friend. You can un join DragNuts.com but that wont prevent you from his emails to join his stuff. Please see the copy of the email I sent to him and the CEO of Ning. I am trying to keep DragNuts a fun place to be. Please bear with me.

Please STOP sending DragNuts members invites to join your many websites. I am getting allot of complaints from DragNuts members of your continued SPAM and solicitation. Members are very angry and threatening to quit DragNuts. The DragNuts membership has grown naturally and without canvassing other Ning sites. DragNuts is a place for people to enjoy them selves and share their enthusiasm for the automobile.

I guess since you have been sending barrages of emails under the creator name “The Cool One” and now you are sending under other new creator names. Dude STOP! You have been blocked from dragnuts.com because you do NOT know when to stop. One time soliciting dragnuts for members was fine but you have taken “ridiculous” to a completely new meaning. How many websites do you need? I do not go to your site and SPAM or solicit your members away.

What you are doing is simply, NOT cool! Many of the people on DragNuts are my personal friends and you are driving them away. I know of many members who said if they lived near Everett, WA that they would punch, you right in the nose! Once again, I am asking you politely to PLEASE STOP!

Just send him a "polite" remove you from his email list. Put him on your blocked senders list and etc. This Not So-Cool One guy is nuts! I emailed him twice asking him please to stop emailing/spamming us and he had the nerve to tell me to stop emailing him because I was starting to erk him. Than in a later email, he asked me to send him my members email addresses so he can remove them manually. I AM NOT GONNA GIVE THAT GUY NOTHING! He believes that since he now has some of our emails he has the right to pester us with BS emails because "It's a free country". Here is this guy’s mistake and he fails to realize that this free country has laws. The same kind of laws that protects us from malicious phone calls. He is messing with the wrong ex-cop. One way or another I will figure out a way to neutralize this inconsiderate ass. I will keep you posted.; ▶ Reply to This

With that said, we definitely don't want you getting any invites you and your members are not interested in.

As your members have an account on Ning, they're likely receiving these invitations from someone they're friends with. If they want to stop receiving these unwanted messages, the best thing to do is remove this person from their list of friends. If your members would like help with removing this person, we be happy to help out. They can contact us directly at abuse@ning.com and ask that we remove this person from their list of friends. It would be very helpful if they could include the message and header information such as to, from, reply-to, subject and date fields.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Also, I forgot to mention, even if you or someone you're friends with leaves or is banned from a social network you're both part of, you're still friends with the person. The reason behind this is that even though you might not be part of the same social network, you may still want to be friends with this person. As this is the case, you'll still be able to invite each other to join other social networks on Ning. If your members would like to stop receiving these invitations, the best thing to do is remove the inviter from their list of friends. Once they've done this they will no longer be able to message your members! I realize this may be a little confusing, and we're in the process of improving how you can better manage your friends. They can contact us directly at abuse@ning.com and ask that we remove this person from their list of friends. It would be very helpful if they could include the message and header information such as to, from, reply-to, subject and date fields.
